11. Generator and accessories maintenance
CLEANING.
Device has to be kept clean. Body of the device is made of metal and synthetic without
air-holes. Device is easy to keep clean and can be cleaned with typical disinfection detergents.
One should clean the generator without allowing any fluid to enter inside the device.
ACCESSORIES STERILIZATION.
Sterilization should be adapted to the recommendations of a specific accessories supplier.
The accessories supplied by the supplier, unless otherwise noted, are not sterile and require
sterilization before they can be used.
Unless otherwise marked, the offered electrosurgical accessories may be sterilized to a
temperature of 134
o
C at a pressure of 2.3 Bar. If one uses different accessories, one should
adapt to the manufacturer's recommendations.
FUSE REPLACEMENT.
Fuse sockets are located on the backside (Fig. 4). The WTA-T 2A, 250V (size 20 mm, type F)
should be used. In order to replace the fuse, one should:
disconnect the generator from the power supply,
unscrew fuse sockets with a flat screw driver,
replace the fuse.
