4.4.1 Encoder connections
Before using the encoder connectors for the first time, the break-outs need removing as
shown in Figure 4-8.

After removing the break-outs, ensure that the ground tab is connected to ground.

Break-outs
Do not remove break-out if the connections are not required.
NOTE
The size of the connecting cable between the encoder ground tab and the EMC bracket
should be equal to the input cable.
