High-frequencycounterssuchasfrequency-to-voltageconverters,frequency-to-current
converters,andMicroMotionperipheralsusuallyrequireadutycycleofapproximately50%.
▪ElectromechanicalcountersandPLCsthathavelow-scancycleratesgenerallyuseaninput
withaxednon-zerostatedurationandavaryingzerostateduration.Mostlow-frequency
countershaveaspeciedrequirementforFrequencyOutputMaximumPulseWidth.

YoucansetFrequencyOutputMaximumPulseWidthto0,ortovaluesbetween0.5milliseconds
and277.5milliseconds.Theuser-enteredvalueisadjustedautomaticallytothenearestvalid
value.
▪IfyousetFrequencyOutputMaximumPulseWidthissetto0(thedefault),theoutputwill
