4.3 Method of device parameterization
The usual parameterization is described in the standard documentation (see chapter
1.4).
4.4 Using the SIL mode and the Classic mode – Switch to SIL mode
The classic mode is the default mode of the device after a reset or power on sequence. It
is the non safe mode of the "traditional" Liquiline M CM42. Only in this mode
parameter settings can be changed. The SIL mode is the operating mode for the safety
functions. Only in SIL mode the system can be regarded as safe.
Switching the mode always asks for the expert password using a special safe screen.
