2.3 Transmitter wiring
Warning!
Make electrical connections with the power supply switched off!
When wiring up probes and sensors in explosion hazardous areas, observe the
instructions on the certificate and other appropriate regulations.
Rack wiringFig. 2.4 is a pin assignment diagram for the Silometer FMC 671 Z/676 Z.
Terminals z 30, b 14, d 14 and b 10 are connected internally
Inputs d2, d4 and z2, z4 are electrically isolated from the circuit and each
other.
The circuit zero of the unit ( ) is connected to the negative terminal of the
supply voltage.
Note!
Two indexing pins, at positions 1 and 22 in the rack connector ensure that Silometer
FMC 671 Z/676 Z transmitters only can be inserted at these points. The pins must
be inserted if the rack is not custom built by Endress+Hauser.
