Why won't the spark light the pilot on my Enviro Stove?
    • Q
      qporterAug 13, 2025
If the spark won't light the pilot on your Enviro Stove, several things could be happening. It might be a defective piezo ignitor; check the connections to the ignitor, and if they're good but there's still no spark, replace the ignitor. Another possibility is a broken spark electrode; look for broken ceramic insulation and replace the electrode if needed. A low battery or a bad electronic module can also cause this issue, so try replacing the electronic module or the battery in the module. Lastly, the spark electrode might be misaligned; if the spark isn't arcing from the electrode to the pilot, adjust it by loosening the screws on the pilot base, moving it away from the burner, and then retightening the screws.

Why won't the burners stay lit on my Enviro Westport?
    • E
      Elizabeth EdwardsAug 17, 2025
If the burners on your Enviro Stove won't stay lit, the issue might stem from a problem with the thermopile circuit. Check the gas line pressure. Verify that the flame impinges on the thermopile adequately, referring to the 'Pilot will not remain lit' section for guidance if it's low. Ensure the thermopile registers a minimum of 200mV when the burner is switched on. Also, inspect the wiring to the thermostat for any breaks.

    • A
      Allen ClarkAug 21, 2025
If the flames on your Enviro Stove are burning 'dirty' or sooting, it could be due to flame impingement. Check the positioning of the logs. Also, check the vent restrictor for the proper setting. Try increasing the primary air by opening the venturi shutter. See also the section 'Burners will not remain lit'.

What to do if the pilot light won't stay lit on my Enviro Westport Stove?
    • K
      Kristin JordanAug 25, 2025
If the pilot light on your Enviro Stove won't stay lit, it could be due to a problem with the thermocouple circuit. Check the connection of the thermocouple to the rear of the valve, and tighten it lightly if it's loose. Also, make sure the pilot flame fully impinges around the thermocouple; if the flame is too small, check the gas pressure, adjust the pilot rate screw, and inspect the pilot head for damage or blockage. Check the thermocouple voltage at the rear of the valve; it must be greater than 7 mV. If it's low, replace the thermocouple. Another cause could be air in the gas line, which causes the pilot to die while the knob is depressed. Bleed the line, check the gas line pressure, and contact your dealer.

What to do if Enviro Indoor Fireplace burners will not stay lit?
    • M
      Miss Erica HartSep 1, 2025
If the burners on your Enviro Indoor Fireplace won't stay lit, it might be due to a problem with the thermopile circuit. Check the gas line pressure and ensure proper flame impingement on the thermopile. If the flame is weak, refer to the 'Pilot will not remain lit' section for troubleshooting. Also, check the thermopile for a minimum of 200 mV when the burner is on and inspect the thermostat wiring for any breaks.

Why does the pilot light keep going out on my Enviro Indoor Fireplace?
    • C
      Claudia BennettSep 4, 2025
If the pilot light on your Enviro Indoor Fireplace won't stay lit, a potential cause is a problem with the thermocouple circuit. Ensure the thermocouple is properly connected to the rear of the valve, tightening it lightly if loose. Check that the pilot flame fully impinges on the thermocouple; if the flame is too small, inspect the gas pressure, adjust the pilot rate screw, and check the pilot head for any damage or blockages. Measure the thermocouple voltage at the rear of the valve, which should be greater than 7 mV; if it's low, replace the thermocouple. Another possible cause is air in the gas line, which can cause the pilot to die while the knob is depressed; in this case, bleed the line, check the gas line pressure, and contact your dealer.

How to fix Enviro Indoor Fireplace spark ignitor not working?
    • B
      benjamin17Nov 27, 2025
If the spark won't light the pilot on your Enviro Indoor Fireplace after pressing the ignitor repeatedly, several issues could be the cause. First, inspect the ignitor connections; if they're secure but there's still no spark, the ignitor may be defective and need replacement. Another potential cause is a broken spark electrode; check for any breaks in the ceramic insulation and replace the electrode if necessary. Also, a low battery or a faulty electronic module could be the culprit; try replacing the battery in the module, and if that doesn't work, replace the entire electronic module. Finally, the spark electrode might be misaligned; if the spark isn't arcing from the electrode to the pilot, adjust it by loosening the screws on the pilot base, moving it away from the burner, and then re...
