Remove
the
Uppercase
(4.1).
2.
Remove
the
Printer
Mechanism
from
the
lower
case
(4.7).
3.
Loosen
the
acijustment
screw
on
the
belt
tension
plate.
4.
Insert
a
belt
tension
adjustment
gauge
through
the
hole
on
the
outside
edge
of
the
tension
plate.
5.
Adjust
the
belt
tension
plate
by
pulling
with
a
force
of
1600
gr.
(57o2.
or
j.Slbs.),
(fig.4-
Tighten
the
adjustment
screw
and
apply
adnesive
to
the
screw
head.
Reassemble
the
printer
and
perform
a
self
test.
Check
to
insure
that
the
horizontal
distance
between
characters
is
consistent.
