6.6 IC LOCATIONS
The schematics shown on the next few pages are for locating replaceable
Integrated Circuits on the main boards.
Replaceable IC's are indicated with a double line as shown in figure 6-9.

On the FX-85.185, 80, and 100, there are some IC's that fit in sockets that are
larger than tne IC. The proper orientation of the IC in the socket isshown by
the following symbol (fig. 6-10).

When replacing
IC's, be sure to order the proper IC for the printer being
serviced.
