GENERAL
Jumper
Setting
The
jumper
isa small
terminal
for
the
connection
and
disconnection
of
a
circuit. To
change
a
jumper
on
a
terminal,
insert
or
remove
the
rectangular
jumper
plug
to
change
the
setting.
To
avoid
loosing
the
jumper
when
disconnected,
insert it
on
one
of
the
terminal
pins as
shown
in Fig. 6-12.

Setting
The
Switches
On
Board

There
are
two
DIP
switches
on
the
Interface
Board.
The
settings
of
these
switches
are
contained
in Fig. 6-11 &
Table
6-17.
DIPSwitch 1 is
used
to
assign
the
printer
(device)
number.
The
ON
position
of
each
pin
corresponds
to
binary
1 ;
the
OFF
position
to
binary
0.
Example
of
setting
the
printer
number
"6"
is
shown
in Fig 6-11.
