Important:
If the edges of the media are misaligned, the
media cannot be taken up correctly. If the
edges are misaligned, unlock the lock lever on
the right-side roll core holder, and then start
again from step 5.

Move the lock lever on the left-side roll core
holder to the lock position to secure the roll
core holder.

Check the winding direction, and then in the
order shown in the illustration below, use
commercially available tape to stick the media
to the roll core. When attaching in the center,
attach using tape while pulling the center of the
media straight. When attaching to the left and
right sides, attach using tape while pulling the
media to the side.

Press the button until you have fed enough
media for about one full wrap around the roll
core.
L
Set the Manual switch so that it matches the
winding direction, and then wind the media
once around the roll core.
