Hold down the d button in the control panel to
feed enough media for a single wrap around the
take-up roll core.

Flip the Auto switch to Off and hold down the
Manual switch on the
side to take-up
the media for a single wrap around the core.

Flip the Auto switch to .

Confirm that the media is attached without
looseness.
If the tension on the left and right of the media
is different in the areas shown in the
illustration below, the media will not be taken
up correctly. When one side is loose, restart the
procedure from Step 1.
