Note:
When measuring paper with a non-slip surface such as glossy paper
Depending on the type of paper on which the color measurement patch pattern is printed, color measurement may fail
due to vibrations caused by friction when sliding the device. In this situation, prepare two sheets of A3 size plain
paper.
Place these sheets of paper so that they are parallel to each other on either side of the line to be measured, with a gap
between them of approximately 2 cm (0.8 inches). Make sure that the patch pattern to be measured is in the center of
the gap between the paper.
A: 2 cm (0.8 inches)
Using the ruler as a guide, measure the color by moving the center of the sensor so that it does not deviate from the
center of the patch pattern.
