6.3 Assembling the product
CAUTION! Never press the instrument jaws together by hand to
prevent damaging the instrument.
1. To close the instrument jaws, hold the insert on the joint
sleeve (1) and pull on the rod (2).
2. Slide the insert into the shaft tube.
3. Screw the insert onto the joint sleeve (2) as far is it goes.
4. Press the rear release button (1) on the handle and slide the
shaft tube as far as it goes and latch into the handle.
6.4 Connecting the product
These products possess an electronic identifier (i.e. the product
and its specifications are recognized by the unit after the con-
necting cable has been inserted, and several default settings are
executed automatically on the unit).
