Some Tips Before We Start
You will need your TV remote control.
The infrared window is on the top back of the case beneath the handle.
You will point your remote control at this area when you send the remote
control signal.
When sending signals to your VT, hold your remote control 6"-8" away
from the IR window.
Your remote control should have good batteries. If your device does not
accept the remote signals after one or two tries, the batteries in your
remote control may be too low. Replace the batteries in your remote
control before continuing.
Fluorescent lighting can interfere with remote control signals. If there are
a lot of fluorescent lights in the room, turn them off or change rooms for
programming.
You may have to teach a signal more than once before your
communication device accepts it.
