Programming
Overview
The LSRA(-C) configuration program is used to configure and load
message information into each LSRA(-C) 's memory. All configuration
and message information must be downloaded to each LSRA-C's
memory, as there is no default configuration.
A list of Keyboard Commands, Parameter Descriptions, and
Specifications, and use of the Editing Tools appears at the end of this
section.
Computer Requirements
The LSRA(-C) configuration program must be installed in an "AT" PC
or clone running DOS 3.3 or higher, with at least 512K of RAM, a
floppy disk drive, and a serial port. The program may be run directly
from the configuration program disk and configuration files may be
stored on the configuration program disk. However, using a hard disk
speeds up program loading and file storage.
Note: During download operations, internal computer timing is critical.
It may be necessary to reduce background computer activity by
removing any Terminate and Stay Resident (TSR) and/or memory
manager programs for proper download operation.
Note: The LARA(-C) can be configured using either the CMDN or the
LSRA data entry program.
