Password Programming
Overview
LSRA-C annunciators can be programmed with any combination of
front panel switches either enabled or disabled when a password is
entered or a remote key switch is activated. Annunciator passwords
must be individually entered into each annunciator. The data entry
program is not required to enter or change annunciator passwords.
Note: Configuration of the enabled/disabled status of the front panel
switches was covered earlier in this chapter.
Programming a Password
Refer to Figure Chapter 3-10.
1 Set switch S1-3 to the ON (1) position. This puts the annunciator in
the password program mode.
2 Enter a 5-digit password, using the Reset (1), Alarm Silence (2),
Trouble Silence (3), and Drill/All Call (4) switches to represent
digits 1 to 4, respectively. The digits are printed on the front panel,
next to the switches.
3 Re-enter the same 5-digit password to confirm the desired password
was entered.
4 Set switch S1-3 to the OFF (0) position. This returns the
annunciator to the normal mode.
If an error is made when entering password data, set S1-3 to the OFF
position, then return it to the ON position and re-enter password
information.
Note: Failure to activate a switch for 5 seconds will deactivate the
password programming function.
