Using the Internal
5-pt Harness
Tether Strap
Child Requirements
• Weight: 13.6 - 18.1 kg (30 - 40 lbs)
• Height: 89-110 cm (35-43.3 in)
and tops of the child’s ears are
at or below the top of the
child restraint headrest
• Age: At least 2 years old
• Shoulders are at or below highest harness level
Harness straps are
at, or slightly above,
the child’s shoulders.
IMPORTANT: Once your child exceeds any of the
size requirements for 5-point harness use above,
you MUST discontinue use of this child restraint
with its internal harness and begin using it as a belt-
positioning booster seat, if possible. If your child
exceeds any of the size requirements for 5-point
harness use above and is less than 5 years old,
however, you MUST discontinue use of this child
restraint.
IMPORTANT
When installing this child restraint with LATCH or the vehicle
seat belt, always use the top anchorage (tether) strap.
