If your Everbilt water pump runs continuously or cycles too frequently, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure all faucets are closed. A common cause is a waterlogged pressure tank lacking an air cushion; drain the tank to the air volume control port and inspect the AVC for defects, checking connections for air leaks. Other potential causes include a misadjusted or welded pressure switch (adjust or replace after disconnecting power), a clogged venturi, nozzle, or impeller (clean these components), leaky pipes (check connections), or faulty foot valves (replace them). Also, check the air charge in the pre-charged tank; after disconnecting power and relieving pressure, the air pressure should be at 28 PSI. Inspect the air valve for leaks and replace the core if needed.
