5.1.2 Water
Turn on the water valves that connect the unit to the water supply. Observe connections for
leaks by looking for puddling water in and around the unit.
5.1.3 Optional Water Heater Electrical and Prepping
As an option, a 20-gallon water heater may be purchased. If the water heater is provided it will
require a dedicated 20-amp circuit to operate. A qualified electrician will be able to provide this
circuit and connection. By no means should the main circuit for the unit be used for this
connection. Failure to observe this warning will void warranty with
risk of damage to the unit. In addition to a separate dedicated circuit
the electrician must provide circuit protection adequate to the circuit
in accordance to NEC. A separate connection and cutoff point will be
required to include this circuit. By NO means should the main circuit
breaker box of the unit be used for the drop point of this circuit.
N
OTICE: Prior to turning on the power to the water heater, it must be filled with water. This is
accomplished by 1) Opening the TP Valve located on the top of the heater, 2) Turning on the
supply water until water flows out of the TP Valved, 3) Shut TP Valve. It is now safe to turn on
the power to the heater.
Open the main door and check to ensure that the
main valve is horizontal to the plumbing. These
valves allow water to flow through the system.
