Pull the Swedge gently down and out of holder.
Ensure that O-Ring is in place and not damaged
by being over tightened.
Inspect components for damage. Separate
components as shown insuring that Ferrule is not
press too far up the Suction Hose and Swedge.
Ensure that Suction Hose is completely seated
against the Swedge.
After inspecting and adjusting components,
ensure that O-Ring is in place. Gently push
Swedge into its holder and put Hose Nut into
place.
Tighten Hose Nut by turning to the right. Only
hand tighten, do not use a wrench.
After parts removal, adjustments, and re-
assembly return to Section 5.2.3.1 “Pump
Priming”, and repeat the steps.
