Solving Common Problems
Unable to send a text
message.
 Selected port differs
from actual port to
which fiber is
connected.
 Receiving unit’s port is
in use.
 Remote unit is not
compatible.
 On the sending unit, set
the correct port (SM or
MM) in F
ASTEST Setup.
 Wait until FASTEST
completes, turn source
and ORL meter off or exit
Probe mode.
 Make sure remote unit is
an FOT-930, FTB-3930,
FOT-920 or FTB-3920.
