1. Inserttheblacktestleadbananaplugintothenegative(COM)jack.Inserttheredtest
leadbananaplugintothepositive(V/Ω)jack.
2. TurntheFunctionSwitchtotheΩposition.
3. UsetheMbuttontoselecttheΩicononthedisplayindicatingresistanceonly(without
the
audiblecontinuityiconshowing).
4. ThemeterdefaultstotheAutoRangemode(AutodisplayedonLCD).PresstheRbutton
toaccessthemanualrangemode.PresstheRbuttontostepthroughtheranges.Press
andHoldtheRbuttontoreturntotheAutoRangemode(
Autowillbedisplayed).
5. Touchthetestprobetipsacrossthecircuitorpartundertest.Itisbesttodisconnectone
sideofthepartundertestsotherestofthecircuitwillnotinterferewiththeresistance
reading.
6. Readtheresistancevalueinthedisplay.The
displaywillindicatetheproperdecimal
pointandvalue.Ifthereadingisoutofrange,theOLdisplayiconwillappear.

