anycircuitandturnOFFthemeterbeforeopeningthecase.Donotoperatewithanopencase.
BatteryandFuseReplacement
BatteryReplacement
1. Removethetestleadsfromthemeter.
2. Removethemeter’sprotectivecover.
3. RemovethePhillipsheadscrewthatsecuresthe
batterycompartmentatthebackofthemeter.
Openthebatterycompartmentandreplacethetwo
AAbatteriesobservingcorrectpolarity.Reassemble
themeterbeforeuse
Safety:Pleasedisposeofbatteriesresponsibly;never
disposeofbatteriesinafire,batteries
mayexplodeor
leak.Ifthemeterisnottobeusedfor60daysormore,
removethebatteryandstoreseparately.

FuseReplacement
The600mAfusecanbereplacedfromthebatterycompartment.

Toreplacethe10Afuse,removethe
four(4)screwsthatsecurethemeterhousing.
RemovethesmallPhillipsscrewinthebatterycompartment.
5.
Replacethefusewithoneofthe sametypeandrating.Reassemblethemeterbefore
use.
Neverdisposeofusedbatteriesorrechargeablebatteriesinhouseholdwaste.
Asconsumers,usersarelegallyrequiredtotakeusedbatteriestoappropriatecollection
sites,theretailstorewherethebatterieswerepurchased,orwhereverbatteriesaresold.
Disposal:Donotdisposeofthisinstrumentinhouseholdwaste.Theuseris
obligatedtotakeendof
lifedevicestoadesignatedcollectionpointforthedisposalofelectricalandelectronicequipment.
CleaningandStorage
Periodicallywipethecasewithadampclothandmilddetergent;donotuseabrasivesorsolvents.
