The vehicle owner and service technician must carefully follow the procedures recommended in this manual.
The preventative maintenance, applied at recommended intervals, keeps the vehicle dependable and
decreases costs for repairs. Refer to the Periodic Service Schedule for service and intervals. Refer to Lubri-
cation Points for correct lubrication locations.
To decrease the risk of damage to the controller or motor, move the run/tow switch to the TOW
position before you tow the vehicle.
Before you disconnect or connect a battery or any other wires, move the run/tow switch to the
TOW position.
After you connect a battery or any other wires, wait a minimum of 30 seconds before you move the
switch to the RUN position.
