      Christopher GardnerAug 6, 2025
If your Fanimation fan is excessively noisy, consider the following: * Make sure blades are properly attached to the fan. * Check and tighten any loose screws in the motor housing. * Ensure the screws securing fan blade holders to the motor flywheel are tight. * Verify wire connectors inside the housing aren't rattling against each other or the housing wall. Turn off the main power before checking! * If you're using a solid-state variable speed control, it may be causing motor noise. Try an alternative control method. * Tighten any loose screws holding the blades to the blade holders. * Securely tighten the lower housing support set screw.

If seated incorrectly, loosen and retighten the screws. 5. Tighten the hanger bracket screws to the outlet box and ensure the outlet box is secure. 6. Try interchanging the position of fan blades to redistribute weight. For example, exchange blades in positions 1 and 3 or 1 and 4. If this does not improve wobble, exchange 2 and 3 or 2 and 4.
