Why is my Fanimation The Zonix not starting?
    • L
      Laurie KellerJul 31, 2025
If your Fanimation Fan isn't starting, there are several potential causes. First, check both the main and branch circuit fuses or circuit breakers. Second, examine the line wire connections to the fan and the switch wire connections in the switch housings, remembering to turn off the main power before you do this. Lastly, make sure the reversing switch is fully engaged to one side and not in a neutral position.

Why is my Fanimation The Zonix Fan so noisy?
    • B
      Brittany FischerAug 10, 2025
A noisy Fanimation Fan could be due to several reasons: * Ensure blades are properly attached. * Check and tighten any loose screws in the motor housing, fan blade holders, or those holding blades to blade holders. * Also, ensure wire connectors inside the housing aren't rattling against each other or the housing wall, remembering to turn off the main power before checking. * Verify that the lower housing support set screw is tight. * Finally, this fan should not be used with solid-state or dimmer-type controls; use only manufacturer-approved controls to avoid damage and warranty voidance.

What to do if my Fanimation The Zonix Fan wobbles excessively?
    • M
      Matthew BurgessAug 20, 2025
Excessive wobbling in your Fanimation Fan can often be corrected with a few adjustments. Start by tightening both setscrews securely in the downrod support and the setscrew in the downrod/hanger ball assembly. Next, check and tighten the screws securing the fan blade holders to the motor hub. Ensure blade holders seat firmly and uniformly to the motor housing surface. Also, confirm that the hanger bracket and/or ceiling timber batten is securely fastened. If the blades are out of balance, use the balancing kit supplied with the fan.
