Why won't my Fanimation TRIAIRE MAD8514 Fan start?
    • A
      Amanda BradyAug 11, 2025
Your Fanimation fan might not start due to several reasons: * A blown fuse or circuit breaker. Check both the main and branch circuit fuses or circuit breakers. * Loose power line connections to the fan or loose switch wire connections in the switch housing. Ensure the line wire connections to the fan and switch wire connections in the switch housings are secure. Remember to turn off the main power before checking! * A dead battery in the remote control. Try replacing it with a fresh battery.

    • H
      Holly RobinsonAug 19, 2025
If your Fanimation fan wobbles excessively, consider the following: 1. Check the setscrews in the downrod support. Tighten them securely. 2. Inspect the setscrew in the downrod/hanger ball assembly and tighten it if loose. 3. Make sure the groove hanger ball is correctly lined up with the tab. Re-hang the hanger ball to secure the tab into the groove. 4. Verify that the hanger bracket and/or ceiling outlet box is securely fastened. Tighten the hanger bracket screws to the outlet box and ensure the outlet box itself is secure.

Why is my Fanimation fan so noisy?
    • R
      Ryan BeasleySep 4, 2025
A noisy Fanimation fan could be due to: * Blades not attached to the fan. Make sure to attach the blades before operating the fan. * Loose screws in the motor housing. Check and tighten all screws in the motor housing, but be careful not to overtighten them. * Rattling wire connectors inside the housing. Ensure wire connectors in the switch housing are not rattling against each other or the interior wall. Remember to turn off the main power before checking! * Motor noise caused by a solid-state variable speed control. Some fan motors are sensitive to these controls, so consider an alternative control method.
