Steering Wheel Inspection
Check the steering wheel for specified free play
and smooth operation
1. Position the vehicle on level ground.
2. Lightly turn the steering wheel left and right.
3. There should be 0.8-1.0 (20-25 mm)
of free play.
If there is excessive free play or strange noises,
or the steering feels rough orcatchy, have
the steering system inspected by an authorized
dealer
Seat Belts
Make sure that both seat belts are not frayed or
damaged.

out and retract on its own when released. The
latch plate should click securely into the buckle
and release when the release button is pushed
firmly. Wash off any dirt or mud which could
affect operation. Have a dealer repair as
necessary for proper operation.

Always check the tightness of chassis fittings
and fasteners before a ride. Take the vehicle
to a dealer or refer to the Service Manual for
correct tightening torque.
Lights
Check the headlights and tail/brake lights to
make sure they are in working condition.
Repair as necessary for proper operation.
Switches
Check the operation of all switches. Have a
dealer repair as necessary for proper operation.
