What does 'Low Line Voltage' mean on my FBD 774?
    • K
      Kelly WilsonAug 31, 2025
If your FBD Beverage Dispenser displays 'Low Line Voltage', install a boost transformer. Even if the voltage is slightly above 200 V, a boost transformer may be needed as fluctuations in power during the day or during unit operation may cause it to drop below 200 volts and shut down the unit, because the voltage supply may be below 200 volts.

How to fix 'Syrup Out' on FBD 774?
    • M
      Michele WalkerAug 25, 2025
To address a 'Syrup Out' error on your FBD Beverage Dispenser, first, replace the empty BIB. Then, make sure the CO2 line is properly connected to the BIB pump and that the pump is functioning correctly. Check that the CO2 tank isn't empty and that the syrup shutoff valve at the solution module is turned on. Also, ensure any syrup shutoff valves at the back of the unit are not turned off. Verify that the syrup supply pressure at the dispenser reads 70 PSI, adjusting the regulator if necessary. Finally, confirm that the syrup pressure transducer is connected and working properly, because the syrup pressure may be less than 45 PSI.

What does 'LPSI transducer' mean on FBD 774?
    • S
      Samantha GarciaSep 1, 2025
If your FBD Beverage Dispenser displays 'LPSI transducer', ensure the pressure transducer is plugged in. Replace the transducer if faulty, because low side refrigeration pressure may not be reading correctly.

    • C
      Christine JohnsonSep 1, 2025
If your FBD Beverage Dispenser displays 'HPSI transducer', ensure the pressure transducer is plugged in. Replace the transducer if faulty, because high side refrigeration pressure may not be reading correctly.

What does 'Refrigeration Malfunction' mean on FBD Beverage Dispenser?
    • C
      Connor JacobsonSep 3, 2025
If your FBD Beverage Dispenser displays 'Refrigeration Malfunction', run the fill diagnostic sequence to determine the reason for the failure, because refrigeration pressures may not be in the correct range.

How to fix 'Refrigeration Pressure Transducer Offset' on FBD 774 Beverage Dispenser?
    • R
      Rhonda WarrenSep 3, 2025
If your FBD Beverage Dispenser displays 'Refrigeration Pressure Transducer Offset', attach a set of refrigeration gauges that are known to be accurate and then compare the gauges to the readings on the LCD. Replace the pressure transducer that is reading incorrect, because pressure transducers may not be reading correctly during the refrigeration diagnostic test.

What to do if the fan is not turning on in my FBD 774 Beverage Dispenser?
    • M
      Ms. Allison DavisSep 4, 2025
If the fan is not turning on your FBD Beverage Dispenser: 1. Remove control board and check for a blown fan fuse (F1 and F2). If a fuse is blown then a fan or capacitor malfunction may be possible. 2. If fuses are OK, reinstall control board. 3. Disconnect wiring harnesses at fan capacitor. 4. Manually turn fan on and check for line voltage (230V) between the connectors removed from the capacitor. If no voltage is present then replace control board. 5. If correct voltage is present then substitute a “known to be good” capacitor and try to operate fan again. If fan fails to start with good capacitor then replace both fan and capacitor.

How to troubleshoot 'Excessive refrigeration pressure' on my FBD 774?
    • K
      Kenneth WilkinsSep 5, 2025
To troubleshoot 'Excessive refrigeration pressure' on your FBD Beverage Dispenser: 1. Disconnect the electrical harness from the CO2 solenoid for the barrel in question. 2. Manually activate the solenoid and check to make sure there is 12 VDC at the connection. Note: The voltage will read ~2 VDC when not powered. 3. If no voltage then replace the control board. 4. If correct voltage is present then replace the solenoid. Be sure to turn off CO2 supply before disconnecting the CO2 line from the solenoid. 5. If solenoid is functioning properly then a leak may be present in the product delivery system. Check the relief valve, dispensing valve, rear seal and tubing in the product tray for leaks. If no leaks are found then the tank pressure transducer may be defective.
