      Jacqueline PowellSep 12, 2025
A display door light that is out or flickering on your FBD Beverage Dispenser may be due to: * A failed fluorescent tube. Replace the fluorescent tube. * A blown fuse. Check the inline fuse (in the electrical box) and the wiring from the contactor, through the ballast, to the lamp connection. * A failed or failing fluorescent ballast. What to do if product does not flow freely from the dispensing valve of my FBD FBD564 Beverage Dispenser?
    • M
      Michele WilsonAug 26, 2025
If product isn't flowing freely from your FBD Beverage Dispenser's dispensing valve, consider the following: * Inspect the CO2 check valve and clean or replace it if faulty. * In “Manual On/Off”, energize the CO2 and solution solenoid valves and check for 24VAC at the coil. Clean or replace the solenoid if necessary. * Run a defrost cycle if there are ice particles in the dispensing valve. If necessary, open and close the dispensing valve several times or run warm water over the valve. * Check water/syrup flow rates and brix if the product in the cylinder is frozen too hard or solid. Adjust if necessary.

Why is my FBD FBD564 Beverage Dispenser chamber filling even when it's turned off?
    • A
      Anthony KennedyAug 27, 2025
If the chamber of your FBD Beverage Dispenser is filling even when turned off, it could be due to: * A solution solenoid plunger sticking. In “Manual On/Off”, energize the solenoid and check for 24VAC at the coil. Clean or replace the solenoid, if necessary. * A solution solenoid being energized. Test the solenoid relay on the relay board for 24VAC output and 5VDC relay coil input. Replace the Relay Board, if necessary. * The solution solenoid left “ON” in “Manual”. In “Manual On/Off”, turn the solenoid off.

Why won't the chamber fill in my FBD FBD564 Beverage Dispenser?
    • C
      cervantesterriNov 22, 2025
There are several reasons why the chamber of your FBD Beverage Dispenser might not be filling. Here's what to check: * Ensure the “Fill“ function is activated by pressing the “Fill” button. The LCD display should show “Filling” or “Fill Hold”. * If the pressure in the chamber is above 15-20 psi higher on the readouts, gently pull the faceplate relief valve “RFill” (refill) point. * If the unit is “Defrosting” or “Sleeping”, press “Def,” then “Run.” Wait for the unit to freeze and the red light to go out. * Check the LCD messages for “Out of ……” condition, indicating a lack of CO2, syrup, or water. * If the Tank Pressure readout isn't moving between 18 and 40 psig or doesn’t lower when chamber pressure is reduced, observe “Tank Transducer” in “Readouts”. Check the transducer and ...

What causes low voltage on the LCD of my FBD Beverage Dispenser?
    • V
      vanessaclarkSep 6, 2025
Low voltage on the LCD of your FBD Beverage Dispenser can be caused by: * Low voltage to the unit (below 215 volts). Check the voltage at L1 & L2 of the contactor and at the wall receptacle. Install a Buck/Boost transformer if necessary. * An incorrect voltage offset. Access the “Machine Settings” menu and adjust the voltage offset so the “Line Voltage” readout equals the L1 and L2 contactor voltage. * A voltage Offset transformer problem. Check CTRL_P6 on the upper board for 24VAC. Replace the transformer if necessary.
