Step3: Connecting to the ST50/ST75
The recommended method for connecting to the ST50/ST75 with the Configuration Software is by means of the IR Link.
IR interface: For best results on establishing a good IR link between the ST50/ST75 and the PDA; place the PDA in front of the
ST50/ST75 as shown below, at a distance of no more than 5 feet.
The ST50/S75 can also be connected to the
Configuration Software by means of an RS322 Serial
cable.
The serial cable attaches on the back of the ST50/ST75,
with the other side connecting to the PDA serial
connection.
