Engine compartment lid
Opening
• Pull the release lever located on the door
pillar, on the driver’s side.
• Lift the engine compartment lid. The lid
is held in position by two gas struts.
Closing
• Lower the lid until it is about 20
centimetres from closing, then let it drop.
• Always check that it is properly closed.
Emergency opening
If the opening lever malfunctions, pull
the cable situated in the fuel  ller cap
compartment (see page 37).
