Possible causes are uncalibrated stroke, disconnected inner-loop hall sensor, wrong air action entered in software, backward actuator tubing, malfunctioning electro-pneumatic converter, or incorrect inner-loop offset.

See Section 7 ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS. 3. Verify the laptop battery is not low if using a HART modem connected to a PC RS-232 port. 4. Ensure you are using a HART compatible I.S. barrier. 5.
