To start the discovery procedure:
1. Push to highlight the Tools (receive) option.
2. Push to enable the Tools selection and start
the discovery procedure.
When the discovery procedure starts:
• the icon shows on the display
• the button blinks at 4 to 5 second intervals
• display updates to show Tools and a series of dots to
indicate that discovery is in progress

Note
If no radio signals are discovered after
2 minutes, the radio in the Product turns off.
When the discovery procedure is complete:
• the icon shows on the display
• display updates to show a list of test tools with the ID
number and the model name
• arrow icon on the display indicates a scrollable list for
more selections (up to 6)
• a blinking ID number indicates the highlighted
selection
