Powering the Test Tool
Before powering the test tool or remote with the NiMH
battery pack, charge the battery for about 3 hours. To
charge the battery, connect the ac adapter/charger to the
test tool or remote and to ac line power. You can operate
the unit on ac power while the battery charges. A fully-
charged battery typically lasts at least 8 hours.
To check the battery status, turn the rotary switch to
SPECIAL FUNCTIONS; then select
Battery Status.
Note
The ac adapter/charger will not power the test
tool when the battery pack is removed.
