Autotest in Loopback Mode
Use Loopback mode to test spools of cable, segments of
uninstalled cable, and reference test cords.
In this mode, the tester measures loss, length, and
propagation delay at two wavelengths in one or both
directions.
Figure 10 shows the equipment required for testing fiber
in Loopback mode.
