Important Control Solution Information
Use only FORA control solutions with your monitor.
Do not use the control solution beyond the expiration date or 3 months
after first opening. Write the opening date on the control solution vial
and discard the remaining solution after 3 months.
It is recommended that the control solution test should be done at
room temperature (68ºF - 77ºF/20ºC - 25ºC). Make sure your control
solution, monitor, and test strips are at this specified temperature
range before testing.
Shake the vial before use, discard the first drop of control solution,
and wipe off the dispenser tip to ensure a pure sample and an
accurate result.
Store the control solution tightly closed at temperatures between 36ºF
and 86ºF (2ºC to 30ºC). Do NOT freeze.
Caring for Your Pressure Cuff
To clean the cuff, wipe it with a soft, moistened cloth and soap.
Do not wash the cuff.
Do not immerse the cuff in water or other liquids.
Do not use petrol, thinners or similar solvents to clean the cuff.
Calibration and Service
The accuracy of this blood pressure monitor has been carefully tested
and is designed for a long service life. It does not require calibration.
Please consult your local authorized FORA distributor or dealer for any
question.
