To re-enable the speaker later, simply place the slide switch back to the “ON
position. By disabling the internal speaker(s) when using an external
speaker(s), battery life will be extended longer than having all of the speakers
operating at once.
Disabling the internal speakers by way of the slide switch will result in the
external speakers still playing. The only way to disable the external speakers is
by using the TX-505.
5.3 TURNING SPEAKERS ON/OFF WITH THE TX-505
When you turn off either the front or rear speaker by way of the TX-505 remote
control, the associated internal speaker will also be disabled.
1) Press the FOXFADE button one time.
2) Use the selector knob to move the cursor left or right. Clockwise will move
the cursor to the left for the rear speaker, while counterclockwise moves it
to the right for the front speaker. By moving the cursor to either extreme
(left/right) and pressing the send button will result in one of the speakers
shutting off. Moving the cursor to the far right and depressing the rotary
selector knob will shut off the rear speaker, while moving it to the far left
and depressing the rotary selector knob will result in the front speaker
shutting off.
3) Press FOXFADE to return to the main screen.
