5. Press the function key Next to enter into next actuator test applicable to the vehicles. Use Back
key to cancels all active tests and return.
● Before running any tests, always observe the safety instructions provided in this manual and the
warnings provided by the vehicle manufacturer. In addition, follow any warnings and
descriptions provided on the scanner screens.
● Never run the tests while the vehicle is moving.
4.1.3.8 Advance ID
This Advanced ID screen displays additional (and sometimes quite arcane) identifying data from
the control module which not fitted on the ECU Information screen.
NOTE
● The Advanced ID function is not available on control modules using the old KW-1281 protocol.
● The amount of data retrieved will vary based on what the control module supports.
To review advance identification of control module:
1. Select Advanced ID from Function Menu and press the ENTER key. A screen with detailed
information of the selected control module displays.
