2. Press the function key Start, the brake pads are now opening and closing 3 times. Wait 30
seconds after the brakes stop making noise.

3. Cycle the EPB on and off by using the switch in your vehicle to ensure it is working correctly.
4. Press the Back key to return.
4.2.2.4 Adaptation
Adaptation menu allows to enter the measured thickness of the new pads after new pads are
installed. This function is applicable to Audi A8 only.
To perform a function test on EPB:
1. Select Adaptation from the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) menu and press the ENTER key.

2. The following screen displays and press function key OK to enter into next page.
