Skin and eye irritation
The descaler can cause irrita-
tions upon contact with skin or
eyes.
•Observe the safety instruc-
tions on the packaging of
the descaler
•Wear protective gloves and
eye protection.
WARNING
Remove water fi lter from
the tank.
Fill water tank with 700 ml
of descaler.
Empty grounds container.
Empty drip tray.
Risk of scalding
During descaling, hot water and
steam are released repeatedly.
• Do not touch the machine
below the outlets or the
outlets themselves.
Follow the instructions on the
display.
Click Continue when a corre-
sponding button appears.
The machine guides you to the
next step.

Descaling starts.
Tap on the Franke logo to
switch to the Service Menu.
Click on the "roller shutter" to
call up the dashboard.
The dashboard appears.
