Return Air Door Installation
Option 1
The door panel is supported along one edge by the provided hinge. The opposite edge has a latch which
secures the panel to the adjacent framed structure.
The kit contains hinge bracket for mounting the door with the return air openings low (shown in option 1) or
high (shown in Option 2) on the door. For increased sound reduction, it is recommended to install the door
with the return air opening in the high position.
The door panel has a provision for filter installation on the door. This feature is only usable when the door
is installed in the lower orientation (Option 1) and the unit filter has been removed.
The unit should not be operated with both the unit filter and the door filter installed.
