4. Add a measured amount of
detergent to the wash tub before
adding the laundry load
• Follow detergent manufacturer’s directions. The amount
required depends on the type of detergent, load size,
soil level, and water hardness.
5. If recommended, add liquid
bleach to bleach dispenser
a. Before adding the wash load, add liquid bleach to bleach
dispenser located in the left front corner under the lid.
b. Refer to the bleach manufacturer’s directions for
quantity to add.
c. Then add 1 cup (240 ml) of water to flush the dispenser.
d. Do not use powdered bleach in the bleach dispenser.
Add powdered bleach to the empty tub.
6. Add laundry load to washer
a. For best washing performance, dry load level should not
be higher than the upper row of holes in the wash tub. Do
not overload the washer.
b. Combine large and small items in a load. First, load the
large items. Large items should not be more than half the
total wash load.
c. When washing a single heavy item, add 1 or 2 towels to
balance the load.
