4.2 Troubleshooting
PROBLEM CAUSE
SOLUTION
The machine does not start (All the LEDs of the
keys are off).
Master switch open. Close the switch.
Incorrect power supply. Check power supply.
Electrical anomaly. Contact the technician

The compressor functions intermittently from the
first batch freezing phases.
Air condenser dirty or fan faulty. Clean the condenser with a brush and make sure the
fan works properly.
The batch freezing times lengthen and/or the ice
-cream appears wet.
Slight condensation. Check the commissioning conditions Chap.II/3
High room temperature. Check that the room temperature does not exceed
32°C (90°F).
High liquid mixture temperature. Maximum machine production is obtained with a
liquid mixture at 4°C (39°F). Using mixtures at higher
temperatures means that batch freezing times are
lengthened: this is normal and does not constitute an
anomaly.
Worn scrapers. Check wear and replace them if necessary.
Refrigeration system anomaly. Contact the technician

Unbalanced mixture or incorrect amount
introduced.
Check that the amount of mixture introduced is
correct and that it is properly balanced.
The product is too soft. The selected working program is incorrect. Select a program higher number.
The product is too hard. The selected working program is incorrect.. Select a program lower number.
The machine becomes noisy during batch
freezing.
Presence of ice on the cylinder wall. Check the wear of the scraper.
Make sure the mix is properly balanced.
Check that the beater rotates counterclockwise.
Otherwise, turn off the machine and contact your
service technician

Ensure that the amount present in the cylinder is not
lower than the minimum allowed.
