Connect the cold wire feeder to the power source
General The cold wire feeder is connected to the power source using the interconnecting hosepack.

power source
WARNING!
Fitting the equipment incorrectly can cause serious injury and damage.
Do not carry out the steps described here until you have read and completely understood
all the operating instructions.
Switch the power source mains switch
to the "Off" position
Remove the right side panel of the cold
wire feeder:
Undo the 5 screws
Remove the side panel
Cut open bushings for LocalNet con-
nection cable (1) and interconnecting
hosepack (2) on the rear of the power
source
Feed LocalNet connection cable
through bushing (1)
Feed interconnecting hosepack con-
nection cable through bushing (2)
Variant 1: gas
pipe inside inter-
connecting hose-
pack
Plug the enclosed gas hose (1) into rear of current socket (2) and into shielding gas
connection socket (10)
Plug control plug (5) into torch control connection (3)
Plug welding potential bayonet plug (6) into current socket (2) and turn to fasten it
Plug LocalNet (4) plug into LocalNet port (11)
Tighten union nut on LocalNet plug (4)
