Notes on power management
If your computer is equipped with power managem ent ( power-saving m ode), the monitor can fully
support this function. Here the monitor does not di stinguish b etween the individual energy-saving
modes of the computer (standby mode, suspend mode and OFF mode), as it is capable of
immediately switching into t he mode with the highest energy-saving effect.

If yo ur computer det
ects inactivity (no input) it sends an appropriate signal to the monitor to
reduce the powe r con
sumption (energy-saving mode). The power indicator of the monitor changes
colour to indicate
the status change. ECO mode is the preset factory default.

e at the computer the screen contents are restored.

Changing the monitor settings
When pu tting the monitor into operation for the first time, the screen display should
be optimally adapted to the display ada pter used.
