To control a
n LCD monitor, a graphics card (screen controller) with a VGA interface, a digital
graphics c
ard with a DVI interface or a video signal source with a DP interface is requ ired. The
monitor pr
ocesses the data supplied to it by the graphics card. T he graphics card or the associated
driver so
ftware is responsible for setting the modes (resolution and refresh rate).
When putt
ing the monitor into operation for the first time , the screen display should be
