Connecting Cascade Cables
When two power synchronized units are cascaded, use the cascade cable to connect the power synchronized
units.
Cascade cables must be purchased separately.
A connection figure for the cascade cable is shown below.

• When the power synchronized units are cascaded, the unit that is connected to the server UPS unit is "power
synchronized unit#0".
• Do not attach a branch connector or a termination resistor to the CASCADE port or the AC SENSOR port. Doing
so makes operations unstable.
• When connecting external (signal, power, etc.) cables, avoid placing stress on
them. Not doing so may damage the cables.
• Do not forcibly bend or fold the cable. Doing so may damage the cable and cause
the power synchronized unit to malfunction.
