Important notes
Transporting the notebook
Protect the notebook from seve re shocks and extreme temperatures
(e.g. direct sunlight in a car).
If your device has an optical drive, remove all optical disks from the drives (e.g. CD, DVD).

Switch the notebook off.
Unplug the AC plug of the AC adapter and all external devices from the power outlets.
Disconnect the AC adapter cable and the data cables for all external d evices.
Close the LCD screen.
To protect against damaging jolts and bum ps, use a notebook carrying
case to transport your notebook.
Cleaning the notebo

Do not clean any interior parts yourself; leave this job to a service technician.
Only use cleaning products designed for computers. Normal household
cleaners and p olishes can damage the markings on the keyboard and the
device, the paintwork or the notebook itself.
Ensure that no liquid enters the notebook.
The LCD scree n very sensitive to scratches. O nly clean the display
surface with a v ery soft, slightly damp cloth.
Switch the notebook off.

stened by submerging it and then having it carefully wrung o ut.
To clean the keyboard and the touchpad if present, you ca n use disinfectant wipes.
Ensure that no moisture reaches the insid e of the device!
