The design of your notebook enables the flexible use of notebook batteries and drives. The
following m odular bay devices can be operated in the m odu lar bay of your note book:
• Second hard disk drive
• DVD Super Multi
• Weight saver
Only use modular bay devices designed for your notebook.
Do not use force when installing or removing the modular bay device.
Make sure that no foreign objects enter the modular bay.
You can swap modular bay device s du ring operation. T his mea ns y ou
do not need t o switch off the notebook.
Log off th e modular bay device via the corresponding symbol in the task bar.
The modular bay device can now be removed without any further a ctions b eing necessary.

► Slide the release mechanism (1) in the direction of the arrow and hold.
► Pull the modular bay device (2) out of the modular bay.
